We just released updates for Velocity that include both a software version change and several product changes. The new version, 2021 r3.2, now supports our newer style of acrylic cover albums in the Gallery Album Collection. Acrylic covers have been added to the Salvatore Cincotta Album Collection as well.
The latest version also includes a new search feature! This will make searching for a product either by collection, cover type, size, page weight, or other attributes, very quick and easy.
All Velocity users are encouraged to run the updates as soon as possible. The next time you launch the software, click “Create a New Project”, and then at the bottom left of the next window, click “Check for Updates”. They may install in two separate phases; software version upgrade first, then product updates second.
The updates will not harm your current projects and the new version will simply install on top of your exisitng version.
Be advised that running the updates will not allow you to access the new products in projects that were created prior to the update. If you want to design one of the new acrylic cover albums, for example, you will need to upgrade and then create your project next.
