Envelope Updates
New Portrait Window Envelope
During a Summit brainstorming session in January it became apparent we should add a new envelope packaging option for jobs that weren’t sports that you wanted to differentiate from your schools. So, we are adding a white envelope option to both hhschools and hhsports. You will find it has similar pricing and options to our existing window envelope options.

Our cost for the Black Linen Envelope price went up in January. We decided to absorb the cost this spring to provide stability for you through the season. Rather than remove it, we want to continue offering this packaging option for higher margin volume work. On June 1 the black linen envelope price will be:

New Products and Product Updates
Hinged Memory Mate
A beautiful and modern upgrade from the popular memory mate print, the hinged memory mate, is something that must be experienced in person to truly appreciate. The dye sub images are protected with a high gloss surface and literally pop off the surface of this desktop display piece.

Like the black linen envelopes, we have also been impacted by inflation in our dye-sub plaques. So, on June 1, we will update the plaques to:

We have offered several 2-sided PVC ID Card layout options with our studio background series templates for a while now. bootcamp ‘24
We are hosting 60 people for 4 days of photography, education, and fun. Each day will be focused on one aspect of the volume photography business to help these folks grow their business. Software Updates
hhschools cloud sync
It’s amazing to see how many of you rely on hhschools to manage your projects, support your customers, and submit orders to the lab. One popular feature we wrote into hhschools so many years ago was the ability to access projects across your network. In recent years we’ve had workflow conversations with studios who need a way to access projects when not connected to the studio network. And so, this summer, we will release hhschools Cloud Sync. You will still use the same great hhschools application. The difference is instead of storing your project on your local hard drive or network, it will be stored in the hhschools cloud. Much more to share on this, but we want you to know now about this option you didn’t have last fall so you can plan ahead.

Expanding the Lab
One thing is clear, you all are growing. While we are good this fall, we don’t want to be limited by space for future growth opportunities. That’s why we have already broken ground on a 15,000 sq ft expansion to the north side of the lab. We will be working on it this fall and winter, with completion scheduled by the end of the year!
