JUMP START CLASS: Creating Demand In Youth Sports Photography From Start To Finish
9 am to 4 pm – Friday, Feb. 10

This class will focus on the three main areas: the pre-shoot, our workflow on the actual day of the pictures, and then lastly we will cover the post-processing of our images from start to finish to obtain a consistent look for our customers.

The “pre-shoot” will focus on marketing and where exactly we are getting our customers, what we are saying and sending to them, and will cover our pricing strategies to drive revenue. The “day of pictures” will cover our workflow on picture day along with how we pose and what we do to stay extremely efficient and make it easier on ourselves. The final portion of the program will dive into our “post-processing” and how we quickly and efficiently build out our team images in 10 minutes from start to finish. This section covers shadowing, getting kids close together but still keeping them off each other’s feet while maintaining their exact height, and lastly the final post-processing and toning we do to bring the team image together. I will go through my step-by-step approach to building team images from start to finish that ensure our team images look consistent every time.

ABOUT BRIAN: My wife Beth and I own Game 7 Sports Photography in Columbus, Ohio where we specialize specifically in youth sports. We have been in business since 2014 and currently photograph approximately 16-18,000 athletes a year for recreational leagues, travel teams/organizations, and high school teams. While we do service larger leagues (1000+ athletes), a significant focus and revenue driver in our business is youth travel teams as well as our high schools for team posters and banners. In addition to our photography business, we also are co-owners of Milestone 229 restaurant in Columbus, Ohio.

PROGRAM: Increased Visibility Leading To Increased Profitability
3:45 pm – Sunday, Feb. 12

Senior and Sports Banners that increase sales while your teams and athletes PAY YOU to market your business!!!  My goal is to help you increase your studio’s visibility by creating banners your athletes (and more importantly… THEIR MOMS) will RAVE about!!

ABOUT AARON: My name is Aaron & I’m a father to the greatest young man I could’ve ever imagined & a nationally recognized award-winning portrait & commercial photographic artist based in Tupelo, Mississippi. With over 20 years of experience in this industry, I pride myself on giving my clients my absolute best efforts each & every job.
I am a “Print First” artist. In a world of digital & electronic media where information is at your fingertips in a matter of milliseconds, I still firmly believe in the power of a handcrafted printed piece of artwork that just so happens to be of your family members. While the desire for electronic images grows stronger day-by-day, it is not the most treasured or valued form of art.
Digital images are simply a means of convenience to have on your phone or device to carry with you. The true measure of value for you, as the subject of these portraits, is to be able to sit comfortably in your home or office & view the beautiful portraits of your children… your family… your most cherished loved ones hanging on your wall… or… to be able to flip through the pages of your custom coffee table album.
