Spring is usually a shorter sports season and school pictures can be a race up to the end of the school year. Just in case this was on your mind, here are the three most common questions we are getting about our spring service time.
WHAT AVERAGE SERVICE TIME SHOULD I EXPECT THIS SPRING?
Depending on the optional services you include with your order; your service time could be different. But to color correct, render, print, assemble, package and ship, you should expect your order to take this many business days:

Remember that doesn’t include shipping or optional services like retouching, knockout, or order entry services. If you are using those services, you will also want to add those service times.
WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO KEEP TO THAT TIME?
In our last Conversations with the Lab, we shared what we’ve been working on since last fall to continue improving our service time and reliability. In case you missed that, here are the Cliff Notes:
The main causes for last fall’s longer than normal service time were assembly capacity and dye sub production. To address this, we:
- are doubling our dye sub production capacity.
- retained a larger than normal assembly team from the fall and are bringing on additional staff for this spring.
- are adding more assembler workstations to maximize our space.
